Modern Kitchen Design – Nottingham
We completely transformed this space into a kitchen and diner open plan design. The space had become dated and needed a complete refurbishment. This included ripping out the old kitchen and adapting it to modern day living by ading a large breakfast bar.
For the breakfast bar we used a quartz worktop. We preferred a white quartz worktop to reflect light off the large surface and add a sense of space.
The aim of the design was to make the interior space more functional.
We swapped the warmer tones of reds and oranges for cooler tones of whites and blues to contrast with the terracotta style flooring. In addition, we also used blues as an invitation to rest and feel comfortable
A simple combination of blue and white may bring a fresh and airy seacoast feeling to any property. Marine-inspired accessories add the latest touch to this interior design look.
The soft furnishings consisted of mainly plain white cotton linen and restful blues.
