We designed this bedroom with simplicity in mind.

Using Farrow and Ball’s Green Smoke as a backdrop, we created a bedroom that is instantly grounding.

A space where simplicity meets thoughtful design, and every detail feels intentional without trying too hard.

Our client was looking for a bedroom modernisation that needed to reflect a tranquil tone and a sense of calm and make the room feel like a retreat.

We included a storage bed in a neutral tone and added layered textures, which adds to that restful atmosphere the client was looking for. The bed also doubles up as storage space.

The quilted blanket and botanical-patterned cover introduce subtle contrast, while the rich purple cushions echo this contrast.

We also added a sculptural wooden side table that adds a natural, organic element. This contrasts with the clean lines of the bed and wardrobe.

The arched mirror above the side table reflects the light in a way that makes the room feel more open.

The client wanted to keep a vintage wardrobe but the colour didn’t feel right so we had it upcycled and chose a soft grey so it would integrate into the overall calm feel we were aiming for.

We did not want to create just a styled room; we wanted to create a bedroom that feels like a space where our client can truly inhabit and enjoy.
